Van Dalen Labradors is an English Labrador Retriever breeder in Winder, Georgia.
Available Adults and Older Puppies
From time to time, we may have an older puppy, young adult, or retired Van Dalen Labrador available to a carefully selected companion home.
These are not kennel dogs looking for just any placement. They are Labradors we know and love, and each one is placed with the same care and thought that we give to our puppies.
Older puppies and young adults available from Van Dalen are dogs we originally chose to keep for ourselves. They have been the pick puppies from their litters, kept because of their quality, temperament, structure, and potential for our future breeding program.
As they grow and mature, not every beautiful puppy develops into the show dog or breeding prospect we originally hoped for. When that happens, we decide that the best life for that dog is as a cherished family companion, where they can enjoy a loving home and more individual attention.
They are socialized, crate trained, leash trained and accustomed to traveling and adapting to new environments. Most have experience attending dog shows and traveling long distances by car, making them confident and well-adjusted companions.
Retired adults are also placed very thoughtfully, once they are ready for a quieter life with more individual attention in a loving home.
Some of our retired adults are AKC Champions, and all have been actively shown and professionally prepared for the show ring. Although it is never easy to part with them, we take comfort in knowing they will receive the individual attention, companionship, and loving homes they deserve.
Placement is always very personal. Our goal is to find the right home where each Labrador can settle in, be loved, and enjoy the individual attention they deserve.
We don't have anything available at this time.
Please check often if you are looking for an older puppy or an adult.

Tonga
"Tonga is doing great! Took her a little bit to settle, but each day she’s more and more comfortable. She’s loving walks around the block, tolerates Chops playing with her and has even started playing with our other lab Brie." Thanks for checking in! Jen |
