Most of our puppies go to pet homes as family companions, and some go as hunting partners, obedience or performance competitors, or service dogs.
Ultimately, and regardless of the future purpose of the puppy, we strive to provide a mentally and physically sound member family.

  • Properly socialized and temperament evaluated. I like to match the right puppy temperament with the right family. Expect guidance when you are choosing your puppy.
  • Puppies are exposed to various noises, people, and other dogs to ensure proper socialization.
  • AKC registration. Limited for pet puppies.
  • Parents with OFA clearances including Hips, elbows, eyes, patella, and heart clear. At least one of the parents is DNA clear for PRA, EIC, CNM, HNPK, LHG, and Dilute gen.
  • Mother and father's 5 generations pedigree. 
  • Shots and dewormed up to date.
  • Stuff animal with mom's scent.
  • Microchip implanted.
  • 1-year written warranty.
  • 40+ years of experience available to help or answer any question that may come even years after the puppy has been adopted.
  • We love our puppies a great deal. We welcome pictures and letters and encourage new owners to do so.
  • Unexpected events happen in life. If you can't keep your puppy for whatever reason in the future, he or she will always have a home at van Dalen.

Any of our pet puppies would have 3 days warranty from the date of sale for contagious diseases, and a 1-year warranty from the date of birth for any congenital diseases including hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. 
​​We do not place puppies with open registration with people we do not know or come highly recommended by people we know.
